Eudora woman injured in 1-vehicle accident
A 21-year-old Eudora woman has been released from the hospital after a one-vehicle accident Tuesday night south of Eudora.
Sgt. Steve Lewis, a Douglas County Sheriff’s spokesman, said Emily Ballock was driving a 2004 Oldsmobile south on County Road 1061 when the vehicle drifted west. She overcorrected the vehicle, and it ended up in the east ditch.
It occurred at 8:45 p.m. 2 miles south of Kansas Highway 10. She was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, where she was later treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
