The Langston Hughes Creative Writing Awards reception will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H.

The event will feature this year’s award winners, Mary Stone Dockery for poetry and Beth Reiber for fiction, reading selections from their winning works. There will also be refreshments.

The event was originally scheduled for Feb. 1, but had to be postponed because of snow. An earlier reschedule date of Feb. 15 has been canceled.
