Swastikas painted on Sen. Pat Roberts’ Wichita office

— Police in Wichita are investigating an act of vandalism at the storefront office of U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts.

KSNW-TV reports the Kansas Republican's staff arrived Monday to find red swastikas painted on the front of the office and on a back door.

Police Lt. Joe Schroeder says the FBI is working on the case with Wichita police because it's a federal office.

KSNW reports a similar incident happened at Roberts' office a few months ago.

I apologize for dishonoring myself. There is a big difference between the two. Nazi murder was fueled by hatred, the republicans is fueled by money and oil.

I made a comparison of the characteristics of NAZI's and Liberals that was removed because it was off topic.

but this foray of evidently "pertinate" information is left for all to see.

beatrice…

Sadly, you are probably the last person around here who should be point out hypocrisy. If you can't see "nazi zombies" for what it is -- humor -- then that is too bad for you.

This was not done by vandals. Sen, roberts obviously paid a painting company to do it because he is a Nazi. Just like all Republicans.

I guess I need to bone up on the definition of hypocrisy.

Anyone here that promotes politically motivated vandalism is no better than the thugs that did it, regardless of your political position, one simply can not condone this. The list of those that habe brought dishonor upon them selves is extensive here, like uglyrumor, Cappy, Pace and Observant to name a few.

Hold on. We're getting off point here.

Now, back to the swastikas painted on Robert's office...

Bea and some other left-wingers awhile back even got agitated that someone who was removed from the board (non-anonymous user) was allowed to have letters to the editor published. Is that bordering on fascism or what? These, the same people who seem to endorse free expression and speech. Insulting to say the least.

Yet you are new around here. How is it exactly you remember what was going on around here back in the W years?

==========================================

Personally, I read the stories and comments for a long time before I decided I wanted to comment on a story myself and joined up. So it is not outside the realm of possibility that somebody has been a lurker here for years before deciding to join up and participate.

Classic work by the left-wing zealots so far on this story. Don't see much condemning except a few about the actual vandalism/swastika. What I have seen are the same couple trying to push censorship on the board, one in particular who does not reside in KS. This user's past posts were extremely inflammatory during the later W years and I seem to recall Palin and her husband being called all manner of offensive names by this user who seems to now have a holier than thou attitude. Fooling noone. Following "Rules for Radicals" to the letter.

"Why is there such hatred towards people with opposing political views?" I agree.

Mr Roberts the question has been submitted.

Why is there such hatred towards people with opposing political views? Is not the adult thing to do is accept other people's opinions as just that, their opinions? How does another person's views affect your life so much that it warrants the hatred spewed back and forth on these forums? There are good and bad aspects of every opinion, view, political party, etc... There is nothing that can be said negative about liberals that could not be attached to republicans as well, and vice-versa. Grow up!

Were the arms of the swastikas pointing clockwise? If not, maybe some Navajo wanted to give Roberts good luck and medicine.

Arrest the vandals, move on with our lives.

Maybe they should rename Tennessee "Tolerance." Apparently it's a one way street in Lawrence.

Vandalism is vandalism--gender, race, politics, it's all immaterial. Prosecute to the full extent of the law.

Just becuase i made a sarcastic remark about someone that i don't care about, i'm a leftist? Get a sense of humour you stuffy old......

0

I wonder if it was in reaction to the law which allows the

Military given go-ahead to detain US terrorist suspects without trial

Similar to an early nazi law, changing the German system of law.

Seems Pat is desperate for attention, but defacing your own property is a little much. Or maybe w and uncle dick came by to help out.

It is unfortunate that Mr. Robert's views aren't expressed this way more often. It would help the public to better understand his platform.

Thanks for clarifying your position with such graphic and understandable symbols Mr. Roberts.

Props on using a guerrilla method as well, you'll connect with those youngsters yet!

Disgusting. I'm a Dem, I have no love for Roberts, but this is wrong and utterly offensive.

Senator Roberts really should have thought twice or at least asked someone before he changed the decor like that. Anyone would've told him it wouldn't fly.
