Wakarusa River Valley Heritage Museum is hosting two events this month.

At 7 p.m. Sept. 10, there is a fundraiser for the agency. The event is at Bloomington East Park at Clinton Lake. Ice cream and desserts will be served, and there will be live music from Wakarusa River Valley Band featuring Clifford Downing.

At 5:30 p.m. Sept. 24, there will be a barbecue at the same location. There will be whole hog barbecue, potluck side dishes, lemonade, ice tea, potluck desserts and music from Wakarusa River Valley Band.

The suggested donation at both events is $10.
