The undead will rise in downtown Lawrence as participants in the annual Zombie Walk once again stumble along Massachusetts Street.
The event, scheduled for Oct. 6, looks to build on the successes of past walks.
Last year, organizers reported more than 350 participants of all ages attended the fundraising stunt. Walkers will gather at 6:30 p.m. at the South Park gazebo, where they will collect donations for the
Lawrence Humane Society. The walk down Massachusetts to Seventh Street and back will begin shortly after sunset, about 7 p.m.
