Douglas County Sheriff’s officers are investigating an Aug. 9 residential burglary in the 1200 section of East 2000 Road. Lt. Gary Bunting, a sheriff’s spokesman, said $1,635 worth of jewelry, video games and checks were taken in the burglary that occurred between 11 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. Aug. 9.
