My trail cameras indicate that the rut goes on. It's usually done here by Thanksgiving. A very warm Sept. - Oct. delayed it, methinks. This may help the rifle hunters around here come Wednesday when the firearms season opens.

Does anyone know what happened outside of Eudora on Thanksgiving evening? It would have been on the road you take straight out of Eudora going to Tonganoxie (not sure the name). When we passed there were 3 firetrucks and cops but we luckily didn't see anything. Possible gas leak?

North of Eudora was a structural fire.

This young woman should be imprisoned for harming such a beautiful, harmless, tasty, creature.
