Sixth Street between Minnesota and Wisconsin
A water main break on Sixth Street has been repaired, but Lawrence city officials say traffic could still be delayed in the area.
Part of westbound Sixth Street between Minnesota and Wisconsin remains closed after an eight-inch cast iron water main broke Monday afternoon.
Crews will keep at least one westbound lane closed until they finish patching the roadway with concrete to repair surface damage. According to city officials, the closure could last through Thursday.
Drivers are being encouraged to find alternate routes.
