Two people involved in a five-vehicle accident Saturday on Kansas Highway 32 just west of Linwood have been released from the hospital. A KU Hospital spokesman said David Cluck, 46, of Troy, was released Wednesday. Jeannette Cluck, 44, a passenger in the truck, was released Thursday.

Two other passengers in Cluck’s vehicle, Barbara Helton, 66, and Patricia Helton, 45, both of Nortonville, were killed in the wreck. The highway patrol said David Cluck failed to stop at a stop sign while driving south on 222nd Street and his vehicle struck an eastbound vehicle on K-32 and then three other vehicles south of the highway.
