• Nancy McCafferty recently joined Body Boutique, 2330 Yale, as a certified personal trainer. McCafferty has earned two certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and is also a registered nurse.

• Rau Construction was honored by the Associated General Contractors of America, Kansas City Chapter, with a Project of the Year award for its work with the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house, 1645 Tenn. The addition adds 7,000 square feet, a larger chapter room, a faculty office and a media room. The team of Rau Construction and Mantel Teter Architects completed the renovated house in March 2009.

• Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital, 4340 Clinton Parkway, has received accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association. The evaluation includes a quality assessment review of the hospital’s facility, medical equipment, practice methods and pet health care management.
