A 36-year-old Lawrence man reported Wednesday the aggravated burglary and theft of multiple personal items from his garage on the 700 block of North Street.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Susan Hadl, the incident occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 5:40 a.m. Wednesday. She said an unidentified person entered the man’s garage while the family was sleeping, and a suspect has not yet been identified.

The items stolen, valued at more than $8,100, included a 2004 Honda VTX1300 red motorcycle, multiple remote-controlled cars and a helicopter, batteries, CDs, tools and a car stereo and amplifier.
