Portion of New Hampshire Street to be closed
A portion of New Hampshire Street will be closed Saturday to help the Lawrence Arts Center celebrate its 35th anniversary.
The center, 940 N.H., will host its Street P’arty and Open House event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of New Hampshire Street.
The event will feature live music, local food vendors and several art activities, including a paint slingshot, a play-with-clay booth, performances by the Arts Center Dancers and from Ric Averill’s acting troupe.
Access to the New Hampshire Street parking garage will remain open, but vehicles will need to approach the garage from the south.
