A 24-year-old Lawrence man was robbed at knifepoint late Tuesday night near 9th and Michigan streets.

According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Michael McLaren, police were dispatched at 2:27 a.m. Wednesday to the 900 block of Homewood in reference to the robbery.

The victim reported that he was walking near 9th and Michigan at 11 p.m. and a white passenger van pulled up next to him. The passengers were described as two white men and one white woman, who took the victim’s cell phone and an undetermined amount of cash.

The victim was uninjured. Police have not yet found the suspects, but they are believed to be in their mid-20s.
