The Kansas men's basketball team was a near-unanimous No. 1 in the most recent ESPN/USA Today coaches poll released Monday, picking up 30 of the possible 31 first-place votes.

The Jayhawks (13-0) also earned 56 of the 65 first-place votes in the Associated Press poll.

Kansas State (13-1) continued its move up the rankings, earning the No. 10 position in the coaches poll and the 11th spot in the AP voting.

Texas (No. 2 AP, No. 2 coaches) was the only other Big 12 school ranked in both polls, while Texas Tech (12-2) hung on to the No. 22 spot in the AP.

KU's opponent Sunday, Tennessee, is 15th in the coaches poll and 16th in the AP.

I can't wait to watch K-State fall down. Let them think they're good for a while. It'll give us more pleasure to watch them lose.

Confrontation. Stop acting like a MU fan. K-State is good. They won't fall too much.
