Kansas University has announced the first of three finalists for its provost position.

Philip J. McConnaughay is the Donald J. Farage Professor of Law and dean of the Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State University.

He will make a short presentation to students, faculty, staff and the public at 4 p.m. Monday at the Bruckmiller and McGee rooms in the Adams Alumni Center. A question-and-answer session will follow.
