A 57-year-old Lawrence man was reportedly the victim of burglary and felony theft over the weekend.
According to police reports, a vehicle and miscellaneous power tools with a combined value of $3,800 were taken from the 2800 block of Meadow Drive sometime between 1 a.m. and 7:24 a.m. on Saturday.

Would have been a perfect case for the $43,750 per annum federal grant, DG CO matching funds director of the three-person volunteers on the Property Crimes Compensation Board. If already in place, the director probably would have aready been there with the lifesize Ed McMahon poster, balloons and oversized $500 check and Home Depot gift card. Hope the person had insurance to protect HIS property from such occurrences.
btw: How about a description of the vehicle so that LJW readers might catch a glimpse and help this guy get his vehicle back. Just a thought.
