A Lawrence woman and her husband were arrested in the 2400 block of Brett Drive early Friday morning. According to Lawrence Police Sgt. Michael McLaren, the woman was booked into Douglas County Jail on charges of aggravated assault for displaying a Chinese sword to her husband, but he said she did not wave it in a threatening manner. Her husband was booked about an hour later on charges of domestic battery and criminal damage to property.
