A two-alarm fire Saturday displaced a Lawrence psychiatrist from his northern Lawrence home.
According to a news release, Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical crews responded at 10:34 p.m. Saturday to a two-story residence at 2314 Westchester Road. The home belongs to Dr. Elias Chediak.
All occupants had safely exited the structure when Fire Medical personnel arrived.
The fire, which fire officials estimate caused $82,000 damage, was declared under control at 11:41 p.m.
Fire investigators on Sunday said the cause of the fire was under investigation.
