A 21-year-old woman said she was assaulted in the 2200 block of West Sixth Street, Lawrence police said.

The woman contacted a Douglas County sheriff’s deputy about the assault shortly after 3:15 a.m., but she was uncertain how she got to the location of the offense, police said.
