The Class of 1999 from both Lawrence High and Free State High are putting any rivalries aside for a joint 10-year reunion this weekend.
On Friday, a family-friendly tailgate will start at 5:30 p.m. at Free State High prior to the Crosstown Rivalry game. Kick off is at 7 p.m. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, dessert and soda and water will be served, and $5 admission to the game is required.
On Saturday, the classes will gather at Spring Hill Suites for a formal reunion at 7 p.m. The cost is $35 per person or $65 per couple for hors d’oeuvres, trivia, games and music. The event will include a cash bar, and attire is casual.
