1st grandchild arrives for TLC’s Duggars

Springdale, Ark. — The next generation of Duggars has arrived.

According to The Learning Channel, Mackynzie Renee Duggar was born at 6:39 p.m. Thursday. Mackynzie is the first child of Josh and Anna Duggar and the first grandchild for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, stars of TLC’s “18 Kids and Counting.”

Clinton settles ‘feud’ between O’Brien, mayor

Newark, N.J. — The nation’s top diplomat has defused the facetious feud between Conan O’Brien and the mayor of Newark.

Hillary Rodham Clinton sent a video message chiding O’Brien that was featured on Thursday’s episode of “The Tonight Show.”

The “feud” between the TV host and Mayor Cory Booker began last month when O’Brien joked that Booker’s new health care program consisted of a bus ticket out of gritty Newark. Booker replied, tongue in cheek, by banning O’Brien from the busy Newark airport.

Clinton told them to return to their core duties. For Booker, she says that means “leading Newark toward a new era of growth and prosperity.” For O’Brien, it means “dancing around the stage and making lame jokes about my pantsuits.”
