A sexual assault was reported at 5 a.m. Saturday in Pocahontas Hall, a Haskell Indian Nations University residence hall that houses freshman and transfer women.

Around 9 a.m. Saturday, a 27-year-old Lawrence man, an acquaintance of the victim, was arrested and booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion of rape.
