Lawrence man arrested on assault, kidnapping charges

A 22-year-old Lawrence man was arrested Friday on charges of aggravated assault and kidnapping.

According to Douglas County Sheriff’s Office booking logs and Lawrence Police reports, the man was arrested in connection with an Oct. 15 incident in the 1300 block of Kentucky in which a 20-year-old Lawrence man was reportedly the victim of aggravated assault and kidnapping. A firearm was involved in the incident, which occurred at 4:17 p.m.

The man was arrested at 11:10 a.m. Friday in the 4800 block of Bob Billings.
