Women’s group to discuss development
Housing and commercial development will be the topic of discussion at today’s meeting of the League of Women Voters of Lawrence and Douglas County.
The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will be from 10 a.m. to noon at Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.
City Commissioner Mike Dever and League President Carrie Lindsey will serve on the panel.
The League of Women Voters is a national nonprofit group. The monthly meetings are designed to help inform and empower the residents of Lawrence and Douglas County.
