Lawrence police are looking to talk with two people who gave a ride to a sexual assault victim early Wednesday morning.

The people stopped to help the victim shortly after the assault, while she was “walking in the downtown/Old West Lawrence neighborhood,” police said. They gave the victim a ride to east Lawrence.

Police detectives are asking anyone with information about the sexual assault to call them at 830-7430.
