KU senior continues as Jeopardy! semifinalist

A Kansas University student has advanced to the Jeopardy! College Championship semifinals

After the results of Thursday’s show, Mark Petterson, a Kansas University senior from Prairie Village, is moving on in the “Jeopardy!” college championship tournament.

On Monday’s show, the creative writing major finished in second place with $16,200, but now has clinched one of four available wild card spots in the semifinals.

Petterson will next appear on a show scheduled to air at 5 p.m. Wednesday on Sunflower Broadband Channel 12.
