Law enforcement report

• A 39-year-old Grantville man was arrested for kidnapping and criminal damage to property less than $1,000. The incident, which stemmed from a dispute over money, took place in the 1000 block of North Third Street. According to Lawrence police, the man would not allow his ex-wife to leave his car and broke her car’s windshield. He was arrested at 2:33 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of Michigan Street.
