This new reality TV show from the folks who brought you “Jon & Kate Plus 8” delves into the world of youth beauty pageants. Each episode follows the girls and their families as they primp and prepare to be beauty queens. The first episode occurred at the Universal Royalty National Pageant in Austin, Texas, where contestants and their moms compete for $5,000. We follow three families: Stacy Alley and her 6-year-old daughter, Rebecca, of Temple, Texas; Phyllis Jones and her 9-year-old daughter, Meaghan, of Garland, Texas; and David and Tanya Perez and their 2-year-old daughter, Ava, of Santa Rosa, Texas.
