Former teacher enters plea in porn case

? A former music teacher at schools in Missouri and Kansas has pleaded guilty in a child pornography case.

William Harold Laursen admitted Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Kansas City to possessing child pornography and receiving child pornography over the Internet.

The 56-year-old Kansas City man had been a music teacher at the Kansas City Academy and CS-1 Junior High School in Prairie Village, Kan.

Prosecutors said Laursen was contacted during an investigation into commercial child pornography Web sites that required members to pay for subscriptions to access the member-restricted sites.

The sentencing hearing has not been scheduled. Laursen faces a minimum sentence of five years in prison and a maximum sentence of up to 110 years.
