Construction completed on road to Eagle Bend golf course

Work on a road that leads to Eagle bend Golf Course is now complete, easing access for golfers who had been steered into detours since construction started in March.

Reconstruction work along East 902 Road, which runs below the dam at Clinton Lake, is now complete. Early on, the project forced the closure of the city’s Mutt Run Dog Park for several weeks, because the road provided the park’s only access.

Eagle Bend, however, remained open, as golfers still could get to the course by using the southern stretch of East 902 Road, which was not included in the reconstruction.

The project was ordered and financed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
