Police responded to a report of gun shots fired Saturday near 26th and Iowa streets.

According to Lawrence Police, a group of people claimed they were driving westbound on 26th Street near the Holcom Recreation Center when passengers in another vehicle fired several shots at them.

No shell casings were found by police at the scene Saturday evening. Police received the call at 6:12 p.m.
