KU football picked No. 21 by Lindy’s

The Kansas University football team has been ranked No. 21 in the Lindy’s preseason poll.

The magazine also picked the Jayhawks, who return most of their key players from last season’s 8-5 team, to earn their first outright Big 12 North title in school history.

Junior receiver Dezmon Briscoe and senior safety Darrell Stuckey, meanwhile, were named to the publication’s all-Big 12 first-team.

Four other Big 12 schools earned preseason top 25 recognition, including Texas (No. 2), Oklahoma (No. 3), Oklahoma State (No. 10) and Nebraska (No. 22). Florida was picked as the magazine’s No. 1 team.
