A Know Your Rights Forum, addressing rights with police, housing issues and immigration, will be conducted in Spanish at 2 p.m. Feb. 25 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 1234 Ky. Help is needed with child care, food service, setup and cleanup. You do not need to know Spanish to volunteer.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Days. The Centro Hispano and KU’s VITA program are again offering tax preparation services in Spanish. Bilingual volunteers are needed to help and interpret on three Saturday mornings, Feb. 28, March 7 and April 4. Volunteers do not need to commit to all three days.

Tutor K-12 Latino students. Each month we help students connect with tutors/mentors to support them in being successful in school. Volunteers do not have to speak Spanish.
