Wind, solar energy should be invested in

To the editor:

Even though wind and solar power is expensive, it is a good idea. It helps our environment and helps us.

Wind turbines are a system that converts the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical or electrical energy that can be harnessed for the use of the electric companies. The turbines are useful to use they can help preserve farms, ranches and prairies. They don’t cause environmental problems like producing hazardous waste, or disturbances that will harm animals. The turbines can co-exist in the world without harming animals in the process. If animals, like birds, were to die, it would most likely be from human’s activity, not from turbines.

Solar energy is another source of power that is natural. Solar power comes from the natural light from outside to help power our homes. The panels do not take much room and they go on top of your roofs. Using solar energy can reduce the amount of local air pollution; reduce the amount of kerosene, and doesn’t harm the wildlife.
