KC needs an NBA team

To the editor:

Have you ever wanted an NBA team within an hour’s driving distance? Well this is your chance.

The Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., has a great court with a great atmosphere. Around the Sprint Center is news shopping and restaurants; it’s one big party. It has a huge projection screen and a stage where bands play during games. The Sprint Center also has a place called The College Basketball Experience. It has three floors; the bottom floor is a place for little kids to go and shoot on small baskets with little balls; the middle floor is a Hall Of Fame where you can go and learn about all the greatest coaches and players of all time. The top floor is for the big kids that go up there to play pickup games. Also on the top floor there are places caged in with basketball hoops from 7 feet to 10 feet where they have dunk contests. This complex is fun for all ages.

We need an NBA team for our entertainment and we also need to get that name back in Kansas City of being a good pro sport city and this will give KC that edge once again. Oklahoma City did it, why can’t we?
