Law Enforcement

• A 21-year-old Horton woman was arrested by Lawrence police at the Days Inn hotel, 730 Iowa, on charges of battery and criminal trespassing. Officers made the arrest at 4:07 p.m. Saturday.

• Douglas County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 29-year-old Grain Velley, Mo., man on charges of battery. Officers made the arrest at 5:47 a.m. Saturday morning in the 2100 block of Harper Street.

• A 47-year-old Lawrence woman was arrested on charges of aggravated battery Friday night at Clinton Parkway and Hawthorn Drive. Bonita Wright was booked into the Douglas County Jail and is being held on a $7,500 bond. The victim was transported to the hospital for injuries.
