The bad economy is causing some young men to consider joining the Army.

“We’ve had some people come in and say they’ve recently been laid off,” said Sgt. 1st Class Michael Straw, an Army recruiter in Lawrence. “It’s tough to find a job these days.”

Most of those inquiring about the Army are men who are 23 to 25 years old, Straw said.

bozo, did a GI Joe action figure make unwanted advances to one of your Barbie dolls? That might explain your hostility to the armed forces that protect your freedom.

In theory, I have no real problem with the armed forces, but rather with the politicians and crony capitalists who have made it a cannon fodder industry for their imperialist exploits, rather than a true defense force. I'm not particularly enthralled with warmongering superpatriots such as yourself, either, snap.

Psst, bozo, you keep forgetting to use the phrase "running dogs of imperialism". You'll never get that order of Lenin at this rate.

Funny how people like you need rely on mocking others with catch phrases fed to you to in the echo chamber to compensate for your lack of the ability to think for yourself.
