Tiny town has 2nd lottery winner

? The small southern Kansas town of Severy has another lottery winner.

The Kansas Lottery said in a news release that Donald Drumwright won a $10,000 prize last week. Days earlier, another Severy man, Roy Higbee, claimed a $200,000 prize for matching the first five numbers in the Dec. 12 Powerball drawing.

The Greenwood County town of Severy only has about 330 residents.

Drumwright says he buys lottery tickets for his mother to scratch. He says she “got all excited” when a $1 Blackjack instant ticket that he bought for her turned out to be a winner.

Drumwright is single and works for Griffith Steel in Wichita. He says that he and his mother haven’t decided yet what to do with the prize money.
