KU, Baker cited for developing programs that work for members of the military

Topeka ? Four Kansas universities have been recognized by Military Advanced Education magazine for their efforts to support military education.
The magazine’s November-December issue lists 129 public and private universities in the United States that are noteworthy for their programs tailored for members of the armed forces. This was the third year for the magazine to post such a listing.
Mentioned in the listing are the University of Kansas, Baker University in Baldwin City, Fort Hays State University and Kansas State University
The rankings look at the quality of academic programs, access by the military and availability of support and student organizations.
Kansas is home to Fort Riley, Fort Leavenworth and McConnell Air Force Base.
