Basic values
To the editor:
The first article you see on the Journal-World front page on Aug. 21 is that Kansas University has sold 40 seats to the men’s basketball games for $15,000 each.
How ironic that just below this is an article and pictures of families with children that are homeless.
It seems in this country we have lost our priorities. Perhaps if these people who can afford $15,000 for one seat could help those less fortunate, we could get back to our basic values.
