A 23-year-old Topeka woman was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Wednesday morning after her car spun out on the wet road just outside of Lawrence. According to the Kansas Turnpike Authority, the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a wall. The woman was treated and released from the hospital Wednesday.
