Emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle rollover accident in rural Douglas County on Thursday.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Brenna Eaton, 16, was driving south on East 550 Road shortly after 6 p.m. Thursday when she rolled her car several times.

She was transported to Kansas University Hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. Her condition was not available Thursday night.

An emergency helicopter was requested, but the crew was unable to fly because of lightning in the area.
