¢ Eudora police arrested a 39-year-old Eudora man Friday afternoon on charges of aggravated battery, aggravated assault and felony criminal possession of a firearm. Eudora police said Saturday morning he was arrested in connection to a domestic violence incident, and was being held at the Douglas County Jail. No more information was available Saturday.
¢ A 41-year-old Olathe resident suffered nonlife-threatening injuries in a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon. The accident occurred about 2:30 p.m. under a Kansas Highway 10 overpass near Eudora. Jerilynn Knepper was riding a motorcycle when a vehicle ahead of her slowed suddenly, according to Douglas County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Lt. Kari Wempe. Knepper braked and her motorcycle slid out beneath her, Wempe said. She was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, Wempe said. An update on Knepper's condition was unavailable Saturday.
¢ At least one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries Saturday following a rollover accident at 26th Street and Ridge Court, according to police dispatch. The two-vehicle accident occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. Two people sustained minor injuries and one required extrication from the vehicle, according to dispatch. No further information was available Saturday night.
Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical reported no fire calls Saturday.
