KSA U-12 Boys Third: Kansas Soccer Academy U-12 boys finished third in Division B at the Governor’s Cup. Team members are Kyle Berkley, Jakob Burdett, Garrett Cruce, Finn Dobbs, Austin Dominguez, Carson Gilliland, Jake Jimenez, Brennan Occhipinto, Seamus Ryan, Chas Sedlock, Sam Stephens and Kyle Vogelsang. KVSA U-10 Girls Sweep: Kaw Valley Soccer Association U-10 Premier girls swept three games in Olathe last weekend. Team members are Olivia Lemus, April Hodges, Sabrea Platz, Skylar Drum, Abi Hummel, Rachel Schuck, Carson Drake, Aubin Murphy, Margaret Lockwood and Mia Romano. In the three games, Lemus scored five goals, Hodges three and Drum and Platz two apiece.

Lam Hole-in-One: Greg Lam used a 5-iron to ace the 180-yard No. 2 hole Sunday at Lawrence Country Club. Witnesses were David Owens and Ron Gaches.

KSA Weekend Report: Kansas Soccer Academy U-14 girls won 4-1 as Meghan Keller scored three goals and Ellena Auer one. High school girls lost 4-1 with Amber Hicks notching the goal. U-13 girls lost 4-2. Tanna Fanshier and Jenna Giele each had a goal and an assist.

Aulet Honored: Ron Aulet of Lawrence has been named to the Hiram College sports hall of fame. Aulet was a baseball and basketball standout at the Ohio school in the early 1990s. A former equipment manager at Kansas University, Aulet is now an assistant AD at UMKC.

Ninth-Grade Baseball: A meeting for ninth-grade boys interested in playing for Lawrence High’s baseball team next spring will be at 3:15 p.m. today in Room 403 at Southwest Junior High.
