AG sues drug firms over Medicaid bills
Topeka ? Kansas Attorney General Steve Six has sued 13 drug companies, claiming they inflated the prices of drugs sold to the state’s Medicaid program.
In a lawsuit filed Friday in Wyandotte County District Court, Six alleged that the companies inflated the retail cost of the prescriptions to make a bigger profit.
The 13 pharmaceutical companies include such well-known names as Abbott Labs, Wyeth and GlaxoSmithKline.
