Third suspect charged in Lawrence home invasion

Three men now face charges, accused of forcing their way into a Lawrence apartment and robbing three men inside.

Antonio Shannon Donovan Brown, 20, had his first appearance in court Tuesday afternoon. He was arrested Monday and is charged with three counts of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.

Police said four suspects were allegedly armed during the incident at 2400 Ala., which was initially listed as a home invasion robbery. It happened at 3:15 a.m. Oct. 5. Property belonging to the victims was taken during the incident, police said. No one was injured.

Two other men have also been arrested in the case:

D’Armon Miller, 19, is charged with three counts of aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. His preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. Nov. 18.

Lee Andrew Mitchell-Pennington, 20, is charged with three counts of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery. He’s scheduled to appear back in court at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 28.

A fourth suspect is still at-large.

Brown’s scheduled to appear back in court at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 4.

The three men are being held in Douglas County Jail.
