Details released on Obama’s visit to Kansas City

Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is scheduled to speak at a rally Saturday in Kansas City, Mo., at the National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial near the intersection of Main Street and Memorial Drive.

Gates open at 4 p.m., and the event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required, but the campaign encourages an RSVP. To RSVP, visit http://missouri.barackobama.com/.

There will be limited on-site parking for people with disabilities. For security purposes, bags or umbrellas are not allowed.

Obama, a U.S. senator from Illinois, is running against U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
