A 19-year-old Lawrence man charged with multiple counts of aggravated robbery and a count of aggravated burglary is scheduled for an appearance in Douglas County District Court Thursday.
Lawrence police arrested D'Armon James Miller after they said four suspects allegedly forced entry to an apartment at 2400 Ala. and robbed three men, a police spokeswoman said. The incident happened at 3:15 a.m. Oct. 5.
"The four suspects were allegedly armed and threatened the three males," said Kim Murphree, police spokeswoman.
She said property belonging to the victims and two women, who weren't inside the apartment at the time, was taken in the incident, which was initially listed as a home invasion robbery. No one was injured.
Miller was arrested at his home and booked into Douglas County Jail at 2:40 p.m. Oct. 8, according to jail records. He had a first appearance in court the next day, when his bond was set at $100,000, court records said. He is scheduled to appear in front of Judge Paula Martin Thursday.
