Want to build a volcano? Check out electromagnetic fields? Then a science fair might be just the thing for you. An informational meeting will be held tonight at school district headquarters, 110 McDonald Drive, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The science fair is sponsored by Lawrence public schools and the Douglas County Science Fair Association. The session is for parents, students and teachers interesting in participating.

Student projects by kindergartners to seniors in high school can be entered for judging in the 2009 Science Fair or in the non-competitive Science Fair Expo.
