Injury accidents

¢ A 22-year-old Liberal man was injured, but not transported to the hospital, following a single-vehicle accident Sunday on the Kansas Turnpike, according to a Turnpike Authority report. Bob Maupin, of Wichita, was driving a 2001 Ford Van about 1:30 p.m. at milepost 185 when the vehicle blew a right tire, the report said. The vehicle struck a barrier wall. Passenger Joshua House, of Liberal, was injured in the accident, the report said.
